We always enjoy camping here. It is quiet, and close to Valley events and activities. The campground has gaps in what it offers like only one washroom/shower house (you have to pay for showers!) for the entire park, not located near the largest tenting sites, and no laundry facilities. The pool and playground are adequate for kids. Their hall is great to rent out for a large camping group to hold a meal together. The site is clean and kept up. It is close to places like Noggins Farm, and all the shopping amenities you could require, however, and there's always lots to do in and around the Kentville area, so location is central.
We love this campground and the owner and his staff are amazing. Marvin, the owner bought 2 turkeys for the campers and we all had a potluck in the hall. It was fantastic!! He goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone. The campground is quiet, clean and dog friendly. We will be back year after year!! We even had a parade and everyone dressed up. There is a sense of community you won't find anywhere else.
Marvin & Co. are excellent, and the park is lovely. Great natural setting with lots of shade and an excellent nature trail on the property. No road noise from the nearby highway, and anything you might need is just minutes away.
This is a great place not only for RVs but for any kind of camping. They have great fully serviced spots for trailers and RVs but also some wonderful private treed spots for tenting - you would never know you were in an RV park in some of those great wooded sites. They have a pristine clean pool, great $1 showers, laundry and even a pool table! Maintenance is perfect with everything clean as you could imagine. They also have a few larger areas good for family group camping. The 30+ acres have wooded areas and many mature trees and rolling hills to add interest. There is even a 1km hiking trail through the forest beside a babbling brook - you would think you're miles from civilization but you're actually close to everything. Try this place out - you'll love it!
Very clean, quiet. Heavy rains that weekend made for lakes on both roads on either side of us. When one of our neighbours went to see if someone was able to check on the flooding they were given a shovel and told to fix it themselves. No maintenance staff to be seen. Not the best way to run a business/campground.
