We found our experience as pleasant as being in an Emergency department can be. The staff were very pleasant and kind. The Emergency Doctor was awesome. Very efficient and knowledgeable and helpful. There was a fairly long wait but that is to be expected with the shortage of doctors causing Emergencies to be more busy. All over the staff are doing their best and dealing with this very well.
From the time I walked through the doors of the Valley Regional I was treated amazing! Thank you to Dr. Clark, all the wonderful nurses, the anesthesiologist as well as the supporting cast on April 27th when I had my hernia surgery. Your professionalism was awesome, but your compassion was so amazing and so appreciated! Thank you for doing what you do, making an impact on peoples' lives. I am fully recovered from surgery, but continue to be blown away by your kindness! God bless you all!
The staff at the hospital, starting right with registration, were so unbelievably kind and personable! I felt relaxed and so well taken care of... by far one of the best experiences I have had in a hospital and with medical professionals! Everyone is so kind and caring!
My dad has been at the hospital since March 04, 2018 and was on the Surgical Unit Floor which is a fabulous floor with awesome CCA'S, RN'S and I know the staff on that floor really tended to him but a few days ago they transferred him on the Medical Unit floor and all hell broke loose. I walked in today and they stuffed him in the TV room with his wheel chair, uncovered and he was frozen, I asked him how long he was in that room and he told me a good 1/2 hour and he was not cleaned up or shaved. His foot started to look better in the Surgical Unit and today I notice his foot is red and puffy and the dressing is lousy put on. I am really pissed right now and I hope they move him back to Surgical Unit cause I know on that floor they care about their patients on the Medical Unit they have Security people look after their patients. I am really annoyed at this moment and disappointed to see how they take care of their patients on the Medical Unit floor. Sick to my stomach to think about it. Such a big difference between Surgical Unit to that pathetic Medical Unit Floor. Unreal.
My father has received very poor care at Valley Regional. I will happy to bring him home again, but will not be bringing him back to this hospital.
